A really good, central location
Ideal central location on the Left Bank, in rue de Lille, very near Orsay Museum and the Carre des Antiquaires, also close to the Seine river, to Tuileries Garden and Le Louvre, not far from St Germain des Pres.
Rue de Lille is a very chic address indeed in Paris ; Mr Chaban Delmas, a Prime Minister of France, had his Parisian home in the same street, where you also find the head office of Caisse des Depots et Consignations, a respected and major institution in the French financial establishment, and a few antique dealers of the famous Carre des Antiquaires
Next metro/RER stops are :
- Musee d’Orsay (RER C), right in front of the building.
- Solferino (metro), just a couple of minutes away
Several bus lines have a stop nearby : 24, 63, 68, 69, 73, 83, 84, 94
The room
Located on the 7th floor.
The elevator goes up to the 6th floor, then there is a one floor walk-up.
From the room, looking to the south/southwest, and from the window facing the main door and looking north, one has far views over Paris and some of its best known monuments :
from the room you can see Montparnasse Tower, the dome of Les Invalides, the towers of Ste Clothilde church, the Eiffel Tower; On the other side you can see Le Louvre, Tuileries Gardens and the big wheel that is sometimes there, Place de la Concorde, the Sacre Coeur ...
It is a rather small room with however :
- a single bed
- a table (partly foldable and a chair
- a chest of drawers
- a cupboard with shelves and a large mirror covering most of its door
- hooks to hang clothes near the entrance door
- an electrical heater
- several lamps
- a kitchen corner with electrical burners and a refrigerator, and a sink
- a shower with a curtain
- tableware and kitchenware

We shall then give you details about availability, price and the booking process.
We speak French, English, German and some Italian.
The monthly rate is 560 euros including rent utilities and a reasonable amount of electricity
(up to 1 euro per day on average, it can be 1.6 euro per day in the winter time).
An agent's fee is payable in advance, it varies according to the length of stay :
* for a 4 months stay, for example, it would be 280 euros;
* for a 6 months stay it would be 390 euros,
* for 9 months : 540 euros.
References
will be supplied, along with a signd rental agreement,
before the renter is actually required to pay anything.
We want each rental to be safe for everyone involved.
Deposits
In each case :
- a refundable safety deposit, payable upon arrival, will be required to cover possible damage in the flat, or the loss of a key.
- a non refundable firm reservation down-payment will be required before arrival.
